Both curbside and inside are available Tuesday through Thursday at the Geary, and Walton libraries locations during the hours listed below.-  Geary: 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., and Walton -10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

You will be asked to wear a mask and to sanitize your hands before coming in. If you are unable to wear a mask, you will need to continue using curbside services for now.

The Spencer Library occupancy is limited in the library at one time. Walton and Geary are limited to 5 people.

In light of health and safety concerns, going to the libraries will be different for some time.  This will include (among other things) reduced hours, social distancing, and curbside pickups.  Those using the service are asked to wear a mask and practice social distancing.

The library is also disinfecting materials after each use. Each location has a book drop container. Those materials are quarantined based on guidelines coming from the Feds, the CDC and the IMLS. After quarantining them, we are checking them in, and wiping them down. So when you return your materials, it will be a few days before they are actually checked in.

Please when looking at the books in the library, think of it as a store and realize that someone else has probably handled it, too.

Patrons are encouraged to request materials through the library's website, Facebook, and/or email, but they can call the Spencer 304-927-1130 or Geary 304-565-4608 or Walton 304-577-6071. If you need something copied or faxed,  we can do that, too. Of course, we will still do research, reference, and general information over the telephone. Your requests will be processed when we are open.

Do not worry about your books being over due, there will not be any charges. And for now, our meeting rooms are not available.
